Miss Massey waiting for the weekend run...enjoying a bit of the sun. It must be so hard to be a Massey.
Perhaps it's time to bring Massey back...Massey Monday that is. She's been modeling all along, just we haven't been sharing. You can still catch glimpses of her in the distance every now and then (on her favorite beaches)...
Hadn't posted anything in a while, so I figured I'd ease back into the blog world with wine. Don't worry bike fans, I have a whole bunch of bike-themed posts primed for publishing, too. But its Sunday, so let's stick with the wine theme.
A few weeks back (before the Soberanes Fire started) we did our Carmel Valley routine...morning run at the dog-friendly Garland Ranch followed by lunch at the Corkscrew Cafe and sips of wine at one of the twenty-some tasting rooms in Carmel Valley Village--Boekenoogen and Cowgirl Winery on this particular Sunday.
And of course, a coffee stop on the way home...
I'm pretty sure Massey is thinking something along the lines of "my mom makes we watch Rachel Maddow every night and she's making me sit in front of this guy for a photo. I'm so confused."
So she just decided to look cute. Pretty sure she's giggling on the inside.
Oh, the things you find at Airbnb houses.
I think Massey is annoyed with El Niño. We are spending too much time inside staring at flat screens on these rainy weekends.
Massey was my assistant on a photoshoot a few weeks back. Turns out a dog isn't that helpful when you're trying to take photos of a bike--she wouldn't even hold it for me. But it was fun to watch her explore the open fields along Old Coast Road.
Rainy weekends mean naps on the couch.
It is still Monday in California (barely)....
This is what a lazy Sunday morning looks like between boy and dog.
This is the look she gives you when we've been up for a couple hours and haven't left for a run yet.
When Terry is cooking, her nose is usually trying to figure out what we're having.
She gives us plenty of warning any time there's a cat on the loose in Spreckels.
Over the break, Massey was able to talk us into going over to Garland Ranch Park as it was in need of patrolling.
There must have been something interesting out there on this rainy day that required the attention of both of them.
They like to use each other as pillows.
Enjoying her backdoor sunbeam while she keeps watch on the backyard.
